Translated into the many situations a photographer must meet, the rule set up by Gandhi's secretary was a good one: if you want to photograph a man spinning, give some thought to why he spins. -Margaret Bourke-White
NOTE: Before Margaret Bourke-White could photograph Gandhi she had to learn how to spin and her instructor had to say she could do it well enough to be brought into the presence of Gandhi.
