On June 27, Illustration Institute 2023 Faison Resident Elizabeth Haidel gave the Experimental Comic Workshop. The event was held at the Fifth Maine Museum on Peaks Island.

Elizabeth Haidle lives in Portland, Oregon, and specializes in nonfiction comics. She is the art & editorial director at Illustoria magazine and co-founder of Mascot Press, publisher of artifacts, books and sequential works.
